This pilot car features rugged and detailed as well plastic construction. Painting is crisp and clear. Window glazing is well done. The pilot car includes front coupler pocket if user wish to couple the cab end to a locomotive or another car. Front coupler is not included, only the NEM pocket for installing. A flush cover is also included, if the user want a more aesthetic front end of this car. No interior lights, marker lights or front lights. Detailed interior. Metal wheels with NEM profile can operate in code 100 and 83 HO track. Personally I tested with Kato Unitrack and works perfectly. Push-pull operation is easy and reliable, and this is the way is meant to be. A must-have for any interested in current day german passenger trains.
