"Cmelak" locomotives were used in the Soviet Union as the (Class CME3), Poland (Industrial Class S200), India (Industrial use): Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL 33-37) and Roukela Steel Plant (DEC 1201-1207), Iraq (Class DES3100), Syria (Class LDE1500) as well as the Czech and Slovak versions (ClassT669 and T770).
