Prototype: German Federal Railroad (DB) type Fad 167 hopper car, used to transport coal. Version with "Minden-Dortsfeld" design trucks.
Model: The frames and end platforms are constructed of metal. The cars have different car numbers. The load inserts have a layer of real coal. The cars are authentically weathered. Each car comes individually packaged. Length over the buffers for each car 13.3 cm / 5-1/4", total length 53.2 cm / 20-15/16". DC wheel set 16 x 700580.
