Prototype: The PwPost4ü-28 four axle postal baggage cars were built in 1928 and 1929. These cars were manufactured in 2 series and a total of 200 were built. Cars were made of steel and had a length of 22,47m with a loading area of 18m². The cars had separate compartments for both mail and baggage. This iconic car was used in just about every German express train with 4 axle coaches until the 1970s and was also ideal to run with D36 coaches.
Model: This is a super detailed handmade precision brass model. Model features original screw couplings, exchangeable KM1- or dog clutches, spring buffers, kinematic close coupling, ball bearings and sprung axles. Model is also equipped with full detailed interior with digital illumination. Complete detailing of the car’s underbody, movable sliding doors, movable and lockable Bellows. Model weighs nearly 5 pounds, a minimum radius of 1020mm is recommended.
