Based on: The Re 450 is a four-axled push/pull locomotive of the SBB exclusively for the Zürich S-Bahn. As it is used solely in push/pull mode, a second driving cab was not required and the space thereby saved is used for luggage storage. Technically speaking, the Re 450 more or less corresponds to the Re 456 constructed by SLM/BBC. The accompanying double-deck coaches are made by Schindler Waggon/SIG/ABB/Adtranz.
