Prototype: The series BB 22200 is a French electric locomotive series which was built by Alsthom since 1971. The locomotives show the front forms of the Designer Paul Arzen that were typical for the 60s and 70s which was dubbed the "nez cassé" (something like "broken nose"). They possess many electronic gadgets like the automatic speed control and proved themselves to be very reliable in operation.
Model: The Fleischmann model presents itself in the green-grey FRET-Design and is mainly in service infront of freight trains.
