Based on:
The special 3-axle gooods vans capable of 6 t load, were developed for use in fast trains. Because of their large wheelbase, they made just like the passenger coaches, giving the wheel sets enough place in the axleboxes so that they could negotiate really tight curves. These wagons were used in all trains which had no baggage or postal van, and according to the regulations of the time, always ran between the loco and occupied passenger coaches as a protection wagon. In the epoch II time, the triple axled vans ran as parcel vans.
