    HO Scale DC Era III 

    Acid transport wagon "Rudolf Koepp & Co." of the Deutsche Bundesbahn (DB). Epoch III. The model in true to the original lettering and livery carries acid transport tanks. Coupler pocket according to NEM 362 standards with close coupler motion link. The vehicle features a brakeman's cab. The 2-axle acid tank wagons had usually 12 ceramic pots, which served for the transport of corrosive liquids. Prototype: Theodor Rudolph August Koepp was a chemist, entrepreneur and member of the German Reichstag. He devoted himself to the chemical industry and founded in 1859, the company "Rudolph Koepp & Co. Chemische Werke" in Oestrich, which was the first company in Germany that produced oxalic acid and formic acid industrially.
