Product Features and Details
The prototypes of the Prussian express coaches are prime examples of the former design principles. Since the year 1909 the KPEV gradually got away from the Prussian standard bogie. The wooden chassis of the wagons was mounted on bogies of American design, that were called gooseneck bogies. These coaches were the first Prussian coaches that featured these special bogies. The body was made of wood, which was cladded with sheet metal.
