Based on: The construction style of the compartment coach dates back to the very beginnings of the first railway. The type "pr 11" is one of the last Prussian compartment coaches built with clerestory roof and remained one of the largest numbers of passenger coach ever used inside Germany. The triple- and two-axled coaches could also be found with or without brakeman´s cab. There are several examples still preserved on museum railways today.
