Based on: Crossrail AG is a railway transport company with headquarters in Switzerland, dedicated to carrying freight traffic, using whole trains over the transalpine routes via the Lötschberg - Simplon and Gotthard tunnels, linking Italy, Germany, Belgium and Holland. When founded, this young company took over five electric class Re 436 (ex Re 4/4) locomotives from the Regionalverkehr Mittelland AG (RM). At the present time, the locos are leased to the BLS Cargo. They can be seen running over the Lötschberg route.
