Based on: Between 1927 and 1928, the manufacturers Henschel and Schwartzkopf delivered 35 examples of the heavy freight locomotive of Class 43 in two batches. The first examples of the 1.880 horse power and 70 km/h fast tender locos were not fitted with smoke deflectors.
