I was expecting one set of boats, but there is actually enough for two and several options for customizing them. They don't take the paint as well as I'd like, but I'm still pleased with the look and feel of them for my purposes. The sail is mis-leading though... it doesn't seem to actually come with a sail, but a pattern to use for cutting out a sail from some other material of your choosing.
