Large stone breaking works with two rows of tower silos and enclosed reprocessing plant. Usually, the dedusting equipment for the whole works is also situated in this tower. Among the facility’s main tasks is vanning dump material for sorting it into various grain-sizes. Afterwards, the dump material is stored in the different silo departments using conveyor belts for the transport. A rotary dryer allows the drying of fine-grain sand. An elevator transports the dry sand back to the top of the facility after the drying. The staff reaches the different departments via various platforms, footbridges and stairs. For loading and mixing different grain-sizes, e.g. for road construction, a conveyor belt transports the stones to the stone breaking works’ feeding tower (Art. 130171). Furthermore, two routes below the silos allow trucks to directly load stones.
