Coal dust is dusty brown or hard coal, which is produced by coal mining, but is also produced by grinding coal. It is used, among other things, for the firing of power plants and for the production of briquettes. Carbon dust forms an explosive mixture with air. Therefore, special wagons must be used for transport. This three-axle coal dust transport truck was built by Orenstein & Koppel AG (Berlin) and had a loading weight of 27.5 t with a capacity of more than 50 m3.
