Prototype: With the works serial number L04-10001, the 261 301-6 is the very first locomotive belonging to the Gravita Family, Gravita from Voith Turbo. As a specimen locomotive, extensive test journeys were performed with it until final approval of the 261 series was issued by the Federal Office for Railways. The paint coat of the locomotive distinguishes itself from the others thanks to its yellow front surfaces and the striking "Voith" lettering on the handrails.
