Product Features and Details
Even after the Second World War, freight train luggage cars with open entry platforms were still in service. Many of the more modern cars had been destroyed or remained abroad, so that they were not automatically indispensable. Several conversions and modernisations were even carried out, such as electric lighting and removal of the long footplates. The last old Prussians only rolled into the siding with the increasing streamlining of operations for cost reasons and commissioning of new cars as well as of the "beloved" cab tenders.
