Washing powder of the Hexawa brand is still available today. However, the company Dreiturm Seifenindustrie GmbH was founded in 1825 in Steinau by A. V. Wolf. Already at that time soap and detergents were produced exclusively from local raw materials. In the 1920s, Hewaxa used an advertising slogan on the packaging of their washing powder which today is borderline: "German woman, laundry is a valuable national treasure! Correct washing helps to preserve it!"
