Product Features and Details
2,633 Di 21 and Di 21a-type passenger coaches were built between 1921 and 1923. The coaches could seat 66 passengers in fourth class. They had a length over buffers of 13,920 mm and an 8,500 mm wheel-base. When fourth class was abolished in 1928, the coaches were given the designation Cid 21. After the war, many of these coaches remained with the DR in the "Soviet zone". The DR couldn't do without this relatively modern coach for long, and most were also upgraded to second class. They were used for passenger services until the late nineteen sixties.
