    As a further development of the E 77 DRG ordered 1,926 more electric locomotives for use in the southern and central Germany network. While the electrical equipment remained almost unchanged, a new one-piece chassis was constructed with the wheel arrangement 1'BB1'. The locomotive body was similar to the E Series 061. The amendments to the drive set to the speed limit to 70 km / h fixed and hoped that a better usability in mixed plans for passenger and freight trains. Of the planned 79 locomotives E 75 01-12 arrived in Southern Germany, the E75 51-69 were delivered to Leipzig West, truth, Bitterfeld and Magdeburg-Buckau. Since 1943, all e used in Central Germany in exchange for 75 E 77 arrived in Bavaria, remained almost all E 75 in the western occupation zones. In the Soviet occupation zone were counted at Bw White Rock after 1945 E 75 07 and 58, at least one of the two as reparation worn and bought back, but then not used again. The DB possessed by phasing out the Kriegsschadloks 22 machines that were used in the southern German power in mixed service. Three locomotives were modernized in 1960 and received amongst other things rubber combined front window. As of 1968, the 19 remaining locomotives were renumbered into the new BR 175. The E 75 E 75 59 remained as 09II and belonged - outwardly offset approximately to its original state - the VM Nuremberg. In case of fire on 17/10/2005 it was heavily damaged, but some are now processed externally again in DW Meiningen.
