Product Features and Details
After World War II, the Austrian railway ÖBB had a very mixed car pool.
Due to the effects of the war, cars from throughout Europe had remained in Austria. This also included a few cars of the Württemberg construction type which ÖBB continued to use nearly unchanged. The last of these cars was still in service in its original state in 1961, but was then converted into a ribbed car at the main workshop in Feldkirch and remained in this form for some decades on the rails in Austria.
