the roads of your modeling world are not only livened up, but heavy-duty
traffic is shifted from road to rail. The car system trucks can now move
directly on low-platform wagons of your model railway, stop there automatically
one after the other and leave the wagon at the destination station.The link between road and rail is thus also possible on your model railway. The basic set 161680 and the loading platform 161682 are necessary as basic equipment. The add-on set 161681 is needed, if further intermediate wagons are used. The trucks are individually called by a commercially available instantaneous switch and they move to the next possible free space on the low-platform wagon via the loading platform 161682. Every low-platform wagon used must be provided with a wagon block (161680, 161681) with two permanent magnets.  As soon as a truck to which a reed contact is fitted moves over such a magnet, it will automatically come to a standstill, regardless of whether it approaches the wagon from front or rear. All trucks on the wagon will be "shut down" by this magnet during the journey. An electrical clearing relay located beneath the track causes a magnetic field stronger than that of the permanent magnets to be built up, thus isolating the reed contact of the truck. The truck motor will be activated and the truck leaves the wagon and moves back to the road via the loading platform. A basic set with loading platform 161680 is the minimum equipment required. For separate loading and unloading, an additional loading platform 161682 and a number of function elements 161683 which equals the number of wagons must be available. |
